Yesterday, Tanya finished transferring everything over from blogger to WordPress and I am definitely going to be enjoying a learning curve for the next few days (or weeks) as I figure this new system out.

One of the goals when I made the switch was a decision to use only my photographs and my artwork on the posts. So far so good. Yesterday’s picture– and I so need to do some post photo editing or replace with a better Central Park picture- I took during my 2008 New York City trip. Today’s picture came from the Hummingbird Festival up in Hogansville. I love the pictures I took that day for a number of reasons.. everything is bright and sunny and there are blue bottles and witches.

I love me some witches… Granted I like green ones but the black ones at the festival are better than nothing!

For those that follow, let me know if you discover problems or if something isn’t coming through the right way. I am trying to get my bearings around here and it’s definitely different around here.
